Baseball Players, Coaches, Fans and Parents FABC is now a vital part of New Mexico

State AABC Baseball!

Therefore our teams will now be traveling to other parts of NM for the State

Tournaments. Those locations are listed below!

Roberto 8u will be in Grants

Willie Mays 10u will be in Las Cruces

Pee Wee Reese 12u will be in Santa Fe

Sandy Koufax 14u will be in Gallup.

Farmington Remains AABC

Aztec, Bloomfield, Chinle, and Kirtland decided to go independent at the last State Board Meeting. They will not be registering their teams in AABC! Farmington is going to remain a strong supporter of AABC Baseball! New Updates coming Soon!

2012 Bat Information

During the AABC Meeting in Scottsdale AZ the bat regulations were voted upon, and honestly made very simple. Here are the new Rules.
Rule 221 (g)
In AABC Sandy Koufax 13s, Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges,
Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson, and Roberto Clemente Division
Tournaments, wood or non-wood bats may be used and must not be larger in diameter than 2 3/4 inches.
There is no restriction with regard to the differential between length and weight.
All Bats must have the AABC Logo beginning in 2013.
In 2012 a certification of BPF 1.15 is required.

FABC would like to welcome Deon Brown as our New League President

Deon Brown, a lifelong resident of Farmington began his career with amateur baseball at 5 years old and has had a passion for recreational baseball since. Deon has been active in FABC for over 8 years acting as a coach for Duane Ward, Roberto Clemete and Sandi Koufax leagues. Deon has also served 7 years as a member of the FABC executive board: Vice President for Roberto Clemete and Executive Vice President prior to accepting the position of Executive President.

Deon holds a strong philosophy for recreational baseball and strives to do “what is best for all the kids not just a select few”, knowing that a positive experience in baseball can lead to lifelong lessons and cherished memories for players, coaches and parents.

“This is going to be a great year for FABC.”
